Bret Leece, SVP and Managing Director, MarketShare Partners International, is a senior marketing executive with a decade of experience in marketing accountability. Bret’s career includes executive roles at AEG, Disney and Sprint, among others.
Prior to joining MSP, Bret was VP, Strategic Marketing Services of Anschutz Entertainment Group, the owner of venues like The Staples Center and O2 Arena in London, a $650 million live entertainment real estate development. He was responsible for pre-sale ticketing, naming rights, CRM and interactive efforts. At AEG, he created the database marketing/CRM group, focused on developing advanced systems infrastructure, marketing research and analytical services to all AEG business units and properties.
Before joining AEG, Bret was Direct of Database Marketing at House of Blues Entertainment, where he leveraged the latest in data mining to increase ticket, season membership, corporate and retail sales at their 15 venues. He also directed the strategic use of ticketing inventory to leverage new channels of communication and create competitive advantage for HOB.
At Walt Disney Company, Bret headed the CRM group and designed and implemented the enterprise-wide CRM and database marketing system for Disney. This included working with all divisions as well as IT groups globally to bring to life, as well as expanding the global registration system to cover all Walt Disney Group properties.
Bret started his career at Sprint, where he headed market analysis for Sprint’s local division to assist in marketing decision-making. This included customer profiling, new product profitability and impact, diffusion of innovations analysis, customer segmentation, market identification, and market-driven network plan. Prior, he was responsible for econometric modeling for forecasting of long distance as well as other forms of modeling and forecasting.
Bret has an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at University of Southern California, and a BA in Economics from Seaver College of Pepperdine University. |
